Added a bunch of new photo albums.

More information on our northern migration to follow soon.

Jed's employer, Rees, shoots a lot of video for the L.A. County Fair, and he gets us free tickets every year. We've been to Fair every year since 2002. It's fun to walk around, people watch, and eat funnel cake for a few hours. In the past, Jed has always "won" a stuffed animal for Michelle, and this year was no exception.

See pictures of the Fair and "Dog the Third" here.

We found ourselves in the High Desert this past weekend right on the heels of a late summer storm. We got some beautiful pictures of rainbows and clouds.

Shell flew to Seattle for a couple of job interviews last week.

Added two new photo albums and a video.

View the pictures here and here, and the video here.

We went to the Wild Animal Park in San Diego this past weekend for Michelle's birthday. We explored Balboa Park and Old Town San Diego the next day.

This past weekend we drove up to Lake Arrowhead for the afternoon. Arrowhead is one of the few places we have not yet explored within a 2-hour drive of home. It was a lot of fun!

What's That White Stuff?
We've had some very interesting weather 'round these parts lately. This past Wednesday saw a high temperature of nearly 80°F. Yesterday, we woke up to find snow. By inland Southern California standards it was a blizzard!

Check out a few pictures I took.

We're back! We returned from our belated honeymoon in Seattle, WA and Victoria, B.C. And we have lots pictures... No, not those pictures!

We stayed in Bellevue, which is about 12 miles east of downtown Seattle, across Lake Washington. We toured all over Seattle, and got to see what seasons look like! Seattle is probably the most beautiful city we've ever seen, and the people were frighteningly friendly.

Then it was onto the Victoria Clipper passenger ferry and up the Puget Sound to Victoria, British Columbia. Jed handled the boat pretty well; he managed to hang onto his cookies. We stayed at Ambrosia Bed & Breakfast. Not your typical B&B! Afternoon tea at the Empress Hotel was very gourmet and foofy but the dress code was somewhat disappointing. We had been prepared for a fancy, elegant experience, but it was pretty casual. And again, we saw seasons!

Added pictures from our trip to Hearst Castle.

Rees, Jed's employer, took the whole staff to Cambria, CA for the weekend to celebrate reaching 500 clients. Cambria is located along the central California coast, just a couple miles south of San Simeon, where William Randolph "Rosebud" Hearst built his "country" estate.

The Wedding Video Has Landed!

Watch it online (A broadband internet connection is strongly recommended. QuickTime 7 is required, but is a free download.).

A big "thank you" to Rees, who surprised us by showing up with his video camera.

Added photos from Michelle's graduation, complements of George and Cherie.

Drumroll please... Our wedding video is nearly complete! We should have it posted within a couple of weeks.

Michelle is graduating! On Saturday, May 27, 2006, Michelle will receive her Master's degree in Business Management from the University of Redlands in Redlands, CA.

We went to Disneyland for Michelle's birthday last week. We were going to Catalina, but those plans fell through, maybe next year.

We bought a fantastic digital camera last month; 6.2 megapixal, 5x optical zoom, 2.5 inch LCD display, and still compact enough for the active traveler. It rocks! It's fun to take as many shots as you want and not worry about developing them in order to see what you have. That can get expensive!

Added nearly 100 new wedding photos taken by our official photographer, Jason Thorpe (Jed's "cousin-in-law").

We've posted a few pictures from the wedding, courtesy of Loren (Michelle's uncle). More pictures will be added soon. Be sure to come back.

We also have some pictures from our "mini-honeymoon" in San Diego.
